Cass, the brain and blonde behind White Opal Hair co. The White Opal name and idea originated about 6 years ago and with a ton of hard work and dedication, this little dreamland was brought to life. Cass, like most of the gems, grew up in the industry. Cass followed in the footsteps of her mother and went straight to cosmetology school. Which then lead her to an impressive 17 years within the business and she never looked back. Cass is constantly thinking of ways to expand and how to take White Opal to the next level to give her little gems the best of the best. Cass is a hair angel and all who know her or have had the luxury to sit in her chair know just how magical she is and just how much of herself she puts into her craft each and every time.

She always knew it was something she would do but didn’t know how successful she would be. But boy, she is successful and incredibly talented. Lauren has a passion for not only making people feel their prettiest but also connection with her clients on a deeper level that will have you leaving her chair feeling spiritually lighter. At a young age, Ally was already so drawn to cutting hair that she used practice on her barbies. She would come up with any excuse trying to convince her mom to allow her to come to the salons with her just so she could watch. Turns out Ally was very persuasive and she would then go home and attempt to recreate the styles she had seen that day. Ally views haircutting as a challenge. Each cut, for her, is a chance to make it better than her last. She loved the preciseness of each bob and the cleanliness of each cut. If you’re looking for the perfect chop, look no further. Lizzie went for it and doubled up while attending beauty school. She worked at a salon during her time off for about five and a half years. From that, she found that she loved the salon environment and meeting new people. The overall atmosphere spoke to her and she knew that’s where she wanted to be. She’s funny (low key a comedian), sweet, loud, and so personable you won’t be able to wait to for your next appointment for a good laugh and some good hair.

Lace decided to take her passion for drawing, all things art related and perfectionism and embark on the journey of beauty and the colorful world of make-up. She can re-create a portrait with just a pen and some paper or she can re-create to a T, the make-up inspiration of your wildest dreams. Lace also takes great pride in her cleanliness and sanitation skills. Her kind-hearted soul, passion for learning, and her determination at such a young age is inspiring. Joelle shines as bright as a diamond and is the glue that holds all of us gems together.

Yarden started out as an art student. After a year of college he realized his passion was elsewhere. He went on a tour of a beauty school with a friend and he ended up spontaneously enrolling and here he is with us today! Yarden’s interest in hair and beauty stemmed from watching fashions shows and seeing how beautiful and interchangeable hair could be. The intrigue was enough to keep him hooked and now he loves to take on lived in color and natural sun kissed balayage. Yarden will leave you feeling effortlessly beautiful every time.

A few years back when Damara got wind Cass was opening a salon she would jokingly (but very seriously) tell Cass she would be the receptionist. Cass knew that Damara had the ability to not just run the show in the front but be able to take her other strengths and implement them into the business. After working at White Opal for a short while, Damara was so inspired by the gems and industry she went and got certified to be an esthetician. She said a little goodbye to us as she went to pursue that part of her career, and now her journey has led us back together and we couldn’t be more grateful. Damara is your get shit done girlie, and at White Opal that’s the only type of energy we need.
